How to find the perfect Indie Christmas Gifts

It’s no secret that I’m a big fan of independent creative businesses; promoting them and buying from them is a lovely way to support people making beautiful things, in the knowledge that every penny you spend is so appreciated, rather than being creamed off by an executive board of old men in suits.

I love finding out more about the people behind these businesses as well, because there are always interesting stories to be had, and for that reason I recently did an interview series with a few entrepreneurs I love – linked here if you fancy a read.

I do want to say though that I don’t only buy from independents. We do our food shop at Lidl, I buy plenty of stuff from Amazon, and I love a Costa as much as the next person. I’d never ever want people to think otherwise, and I can’t bear it when people get preachy about buying independent! It’s all about just doing what you can, and if you can buy just one gift from an indie biz this year, that’s amazing!

I know a lot of people really would like to do so more, so I thought I’d put together a gift guide to help you out! I’ve organised it by category, with a range of prices within each one, just click on each image for the link.

Please note that this post contains affiliate links so if you buy anything, I make a few pennies by way of commission, but it doesn’t cost you any more. All prices are correct at the time of publishing.
